Hey! I’m Sage. I’m an artist with too many interests and not enough time to explore them all (but that won’t stop me from trying).

I often use art as a tool to find magic and fantasy in the natural world. I have a background in science (gene editing in mosquitos, if you’re curious) and take heaps of inspiration from classic scientific illustrations. But rather than replicate subjects exactly, I like to bend and shape them into something fantastical, sometimes with a hint of horror themes.

I’ve been tattooing for nearly 5 years, and currently tattoo out of Flowerhouse Tattoo Studio in Brooklyn, NY. I especially love to work with color in my tattoos, and am comfortable working in a broad range of styles.
